Established in 1890, White Horse Group of Houseboats has a rich history. Abdul Rahim managed to start the service of renting Houseboats in Kashmir during the British Rule in India. Mr. Rahim managed to get five Houseboats, situated in Srinagar along Dal Lake. White Horse Group of Houseboats is located close to Shankaracharya Reserved Forest, in Srinagar. There are several points of interest close by, such as the Royal Springs Golf Course, Botanical Garden, and Hari Parbat Fort. The White Horse Group of Houseboats was founded with the vision of servicing those who visit Kashmir and Srinagar hoping to enjoy the art culture and the scenic beauty it offers.

Currently, the Houseboats have a restaurant and around the clock room service. They also have a golf course on board. The property is a 3.5-star business center, that also provides services like tour and ticket assistance. It also has a vast garden where you can let your kids play.
